Meet Our Band Directors
Marc Kolodinsky
Band Director
Marc Kolodinsky, affectionately known as Mr. K is a passionate high school band director, entering his 19th year of teaching and his second year as Director of Bands at Windermere High School in Orange County. Mr. K is a graduate of Stetson University and has previously taught in Seminole, Flager, and Volusia counties. Beyond the classroom, Mr. K extends his musical expertise as the conductor of the Joseph Wise Jazz Band with the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras (FSYO) and Central Florida Youth Saxophone and Clarinet Ensembles (CFYSE & CFYCE). For the majority of his career, Mr. K has held a private lesson studio of clarinet and saxophone students that range from elementary aged students to adults. In addition, he regularly performs with the Orlando Saxophone Project, a professional saxophone quartet in Central Florida.
Katie Rudzik
Associate Band Director
Kathrine Rudzik grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, where she played horn in both her school band and the Tallahassee Youth Orchestra.

Kathrine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Central Florida in 2015. She continued her studies at Florida State University, where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Music Education in 2021.
​
With over nine years of teaching experience in Seminole and Orange counties, Kathrine has made a significant impact on students throughout the Central Florida area. Outside of her school, Kathrine spends time running training for various marathons. In addition, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her cat, Piper.
